This Privacy Policy explains how the personal data you provide through the website futbolgrancanaria.eu (the “website”) is processed, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

- Tax ID (CIF): B76096346
- Address: C/ Blasco Ibañez nº4 Residencial Las Isas nº24, 35100, Sonneland, Maspalomas

2. What data we process
Contact form. When you write to us using the contact form, we process the data you enter: your name, email address, phone number, subject and the content of your message, together with the record that you have accepted this policy. All fields are required to send the request. Please do not include special categories of data (for example, health data) in your message.
Contact by other means. If you contact us by email, by phone or through the WhatsApp button on the website, we will process the data you provide in that communication for the same purpose. The WhatsApp button opens the WhatsApp app or website, a third-party service subject to its own terms and privacy policy.
Technical browsing data. When you visit the website, your browser automatically sends certain technical information (such as your IP address, browser type or the page requested), which is needed to show you the content and keep the service secure. For information on cookies and similar technologies, please see the Cookie Policy.
Usage statistics (Google Analytics 4). Only if you accept it in the cookie notice (“Statistics” category), the website uses Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, to understand in aggregate how it is used: pages visited, referring page, device and browser type, approximate location derived from the IP address, and identifiers stored in the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies. Google Analytics is not loaded before you consent. The website does not use this data for personalised advertising or remarketing.
Embedded maps. Only if you accept the “Marketing” category (or click “I agree” on the map), the Google Maps map (Google Ireland Limited) on the “About Us” and “Contact” pages and the satellite-image map from Esri (ArcGIS) on the match pages are loaded. To display them, your browser sends these providers your IP address and the technical data of the request. They are not loaded before you consent.
3. Purpose of processing
Your data is processed to deal with and reply to your enquiry or request for information and, where applicable, to keep in touch with you as needed to handle it.
If you consent, the browsing data described in the previous section is also processed to produce aggregate usage statistics for the website (Google Analytics 4) and to show you the embedded maps (Google Maps and Esri ArcGIS).
It is not used to send you marketing communications or to create profiles, and no automated decisions are made with it. Should we wish to use it for a different purpose in the future, you would be informed beforehand and, where necessary, asked for your consent.
4. Legal basis
The legal basis for processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box accepting this policy before sending the form, or by contacting us voluntarily by other means. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
The use of Google Analytics 4 and of the embedded maps is also based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 22(2) of the Spanish LSSI-CE), which you give in the cookie notice and can withdraw at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
If your enquiry leads to a contractual relationship, the processing of the data needed for that relationship will be governed by the information provided to you at that time.
5. Data retention
We will keep your data for as long as necessary to deal with your request. After that, it will be kept blocked only for the periods required by law to address any liabilities arising from the processing, and then deleted.
The website does not store messages sent through the form in its database: they are forwarded to the controller by email.
Google Analytics data is kept in the Analytics property for 14 months (current setting). The _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies expire after 2 years or are deleted from your browser if you withdraw your consent.
6. Who may receive your personal data?
The data you provide may be disclosed or communicated to public or private entities to which such transmission is mandatory or necessary to achieve the specified and legitimate purposes.
In addition, the controller uses technology service providers (website hosting and email) that may access the data solely to provide that service, acting as processors and following the controller’s instructions.
If you give your consent in the cookie notice, Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics and Google Maps) and Esri (match-page map) will also receive browsing data, as described in section 2 and in the Cookie Policy.
7. International transfers
The data you provide through the contact form is not transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Some technology providers that are only involved if you give your consent in the cookie notice may process data outside the EEA:
- Google (Google Analytics and Google Maps) may also process data in the United States and in other countries where it has facilities. Google states that, for these transfers, it relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, on standard contractual clauses. More information in the Google Privacy Policy and in its information on data transfers.
- Esri (match-page map): any transfers made by this provider are governed by the GDPR mechanisms it has put in place. More information on Esri’s privacy page.
If you do not give your consent, or withdraw it, none of these connections is made.
8. Your rights
You may exercise the following rights at any time:
- Access: find out whether we process your data and obtain a copy of it.
- Rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- Erasure: ask for your data to be deleted when, among other reasons, it is no longer needed.
- Objection: object to the processing in certain circumstances.
- Restriction of processing: ask for the use of your data to be restricted in the cases provided for by law.
- Portability: receive the data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used format, or have it transmitted to another controller.
- Withdrawal of consent: at any time, without retroactive effect.
9. How to exercise your rights
You can exercise your rights by writing to Canary Sun Sport & Golf 10 S.L., C/ Blasco Ibañez nº4 Residencial Las Isas nº24, 35100, Sonneland, Maspalomas, or by email to info@futbolgrancanaria.eu, stating the right you wish to exercise. If we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask you for additional information to confirm it. We will reply within one month, which may be extended in the cases provided for in the GDPR.
10. Complaints to the supervisory authority
If you believe that the processing of your data does not comply with the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority of the Member State in which you habitually reside, work or where the alleged infringement took place.
11. Minors
The contact form is not intended for children under 14. If you are under 14, your parent or legal guardian must contact us on your behalf.
12. Accuracy of data
You confirm that the data you provide is true and up to date and, if you include data about other people, that you are authorised to do so.
13. Security of personal data
Users’ data will at all times be treated as strictly confidential and subject to the mandatory duty of secrecy, in accordance with the applicable regulations. To this end, the technical and organisational measures necessary to guarantee the security of the data and prevent its alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access are adopted, taking into account the state of technology, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which it is exposed. Communications with the website are encrypted using HTTPS.
14. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the law or in the website. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its last updated date.
